Vila Nepos Piaca is a fully restored and beautifully decorated two level apartment occupying the center of the Pavlovich Palace which consists of the 2nd and 3rd floor and situated on the main Split's square called Piaca, first mentioned in the 13th-century census of Split.

Besides inappreciable palaces built by patrician families on the Piaca square you can find the City Hall made by the Venetian Republic in the 15th century and the clock tower, one of the oldest in Europe. The Piaca is still one of the most important gathering places in the old town, popular as ever, beautiful, vivid and full of life.

Pavlovich family were a very respected patrician family, they gained their glory fighting the Ottoman Empire and as part of Split's war council, place reserved just for few.

The Cindro's were one of the most important families in Split, often times playing a leading role in Split's politics during the late middle ages.
