Vila Nepos is a magnificently restored Roman building located in the very heart of Diocletian's Palace in Split.
Originally constructed in the 4th cent. AD as private quarters for the Emperor's elite Roman Praetorian guards, under the careful supervision of conservators, guided by UNESCO, Vila Nepos' rare and unique interior features have been beautifully preserved and the entire building meticulously restored into four exquistely appointed, one and two bedroom full-floor luxury hotel suites.

Each luxury hotel suite is lavishly decorated with extraordinary museum-quality antiques, sculptures and art inspired by the power, wealth and majesty of ancient Roman life as well as by Split's rich medieval history and the grace of its Venetian legacy.
Just to the right of the entrance of Vila Nepos is the original 4th cent. AD Latin carved inscription that refers to the “Emperor's second in command“. Throughout the villa you will be able to see and touch authentic exposed Roman walls and flowing arches.
